Terms and Conditions

Effective date: March 10, 2026

Last updated: March 10, 2026

Please read these Terms and Co nditions carefully before using CloudHaul. By accessing or using cloudhaul.co, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. About CloudHaul

CloudHaul is a file migration service that transfers files and folders between cloud storage platforms, including Dropbox and Google Drive. We charge a per-gigabyte fee for each transfer. CloudHaul is operated as a self-serve tool — you are responsible for selecting the correct files and authorizing the transfer.

2. Eligibility

To use CloudHaul you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.

  • Have the legal right to access and transfer the files you select.

  • Have valid accounts with the cloud storage platforms you are migrating between.

  • Provide accurate billing information.

By using CloudHaul, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above requirements.

3. Your Account

You may be required to create an account to use CloudHaul. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • All activity that occurs under your account.

  • Notifying us immediately at hello@cloudhaul.co if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we believe pose a risk to the service or other users.

4. Authorized Use & Your Files

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the legal right to transfer all files you select for migration.

  • Your files do not contain illegal content, malware, or content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.

  • You will not use CloudHaul to transfer files on behalf of others without their explicit authorization.

CloudHaul is a conduit service. We do not inspect, review, or take responsibility for the contents of the files you transfer. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the service complies with all applicable laws.

5. Pricing & Payment

CloudHaul charges a per-gigabyte fee for each completed transfer. The current rate is displayed on our pricing page at cloudhaul.co before you initiate a transfer.

  • Payment is collected via Stripe before or upon completion of a transfer, depending on the method selected.

  • All prices are in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices may change at any time. Changes will not affect transfers already in progress or paid for.

  • You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase.

By providing payment information, you authorize CloudHaul to charge your payment method for the agreed amount.

6. Refund Policy

Because file transfer is an irreversible digital service, our refund policy is as follows:

  • Completed transfers are non-refundable. Once files have been successfully moved to the destination, the transfer is considered complete and payment is final.

  • Failed transfers — if a transfer fails entirely due to a fault on our end and no files were moved, you will not be charged or will receive a full refund.

  • Partial transfers — if a transfer partially completes due to a fault on our end, we will review on a case-by-case basis and may issue a partial refund proportional to the data not transferred.

  • User error — refunds are not available for transfers initiated with incorrect source or destination selections, or where the user revoked OAuth access during an active transfer.

To request a refund, contact support@cloudhaul.co within 7 days of the transfer date.

7. Third-Party Platforms

CloudHaul connects to Dropbox, Google Drive, and other third-party platforms via their official APIs. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service:

  • Dropbox Terms of Service: dropbox.com/terms

  • Google Terms of Service: policies.google.com/terms

CloudHaul is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Dropbox, Inc. or Google LLC. Changes to third-party APIs or platform policies may affect the availability or functionality of CloudHaul, and we are not responsible for such changes.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep CloudHaul available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice where possible).

  • Unplanned outages or technical issues.

  • Disruptions to third-party services (Dropbox, Google Drive, Stripe, etc.) that are outside our control.

We are not liable for losses or damages resulting from service downtime or interruptions.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use CloudHaul to:

  • Transfer files containing illegal content, including but not limited to content that violates copyright, contains malware, or constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

  • Circumvent security measures of any cloud storage platform.

  • Resell or re-offer CloudHaul as your own service without written permission.

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the CloudHaul platform.

  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

10. Intellectual Property

CloudHaul and all associated branding, software, design, and content are owned by CloudHaul and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the CloudHaul platform without our written consent.

Your files remain your property at all times. We claim no intellectual property rights over the files you transfer.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to CloudHaul in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CloudHaul and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the service.

  • Your violation of these Terms.

  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

  • Any content or files you transfer using CloudHaul.

14. Termination

You may stop using CloudHaul at any time. You may delete your account by contacting support@cloudhaul.co.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to CloudHaul at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

Upon termination, your right to use CloudHaul ceases immediately. Sections 10 through 14 of these Terms survive termination.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in King County, Washington.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the site at least 7 days before the change takes effect.
